What will we be doing at Paxtons Walk?
As part of our commitment to making Adelaide a more connected and vibrant capital city, we are pleased to inform you that Paxtons Walk Revitalisation Project will commence in July 2022 (preliminary works are scheduled for mid-June).
What is the Paxtons Walk - Streetscape Revitalisation Project?
The Paxton’s Walk Revitalisation project will bring new life to a popular East End pedestrian link, transforming it from a tired and constrained walkway into a vibrant, welcoming, green and accessible place. This is a key link between Adelaide’s East End Precinct to the Lot Fourteen site. The scope of works includes upgrading stormwater infrastructure and streetscape through new lighting, greening and pavements.
We will maintain as much pedestrian access as possible, but there will be instances where we would be required to detour the pedestrian via North Terrace and Frome Rd.
Works are scheduled to be complete by February 2023. From June you will be able to view regular monthly updates of the works. Any questions and queries about the project can be directed here.
