The small streets and laneways which connect the Market District through to the the city core and Riverbank area and Adelaide Railway Station are a priority for the city.
The Market to Riverbank Link project seeks to create an exciting and vibrant connect between the Adelaide Central Market and the Adelaide Riverbank. It will feature upgrades to elements such as paving, lighting, trees, landscaping, street furniture and public art.
An exciting section of this project, Topham Mall will provide a high-quality all-hours walking and cycling link by offering a more intimate route with day and night activation.
Works have commenced first in Topham Mall North and are estimated to be completed by 15 December 2017.

Topham Mall was part of Council's Placemaking Pilot (2013-2015), where we worked with communities and received ideas from businesses, property owners, residents, students and people who use the area. A number of proposals contributed to the end result, Invigorate Your Senses, a plan that tells the story of the area and the vision for the future.
