Council has received an application from SA Motorsport Board for the use of Hindmarsh Square/Mukata to enable the World Solar Challenge to take place from Thursday 10 October 2013 to Sunday 13 October 2013.
Before council can grant a temporary event lease we are required to
consult with the community as it may affect their access to the Park
Lands.

On the 2nd July, the City Culture & Community Services Committee reccomended a report go to Council to endorses the proposed event lease for World Solar Challenge 2013 event to take place in the Park Lands. Click to read the Report.
