Consultation has concluded
The City of Adelaide is developing a proposal to install a 10 Gigabit per second optical fibre network for businesses across the City of Adelaide. The optical fibre network would be connected locally, regionally, interstate and to the rest of the world through a direct peer to peer connection via the cloud super-highway.
The proposal is aimed at establishing a competitive advantage and contributing to the economic development and sustainability of the city. The 10 Gigabit per second optical fibre network is aimed at businesses and will complement the NBN and the State Government’s “GigCity Adelaide” initiative.
We are seeking feedback from selected businesses that are based in and around the city. This valuable feedback will indicate the level of support and interest in the proposed 10 Gigabit network, and be used in the evaluation of the proposal. We are also very interested in any other feedback or comments you may have.
