The draft Business Plan and Budget outlines Council's priorities for 2012-13 and how it intends to fund the projects and services which will deliver on those priorities.

Over the past year, we have received thousands of great ideas via 'Picture Adelaide 2012' for our City from the people of Adelaide. These ideas have helped us to develop the draft 2012-13 Business Plan and Budget.

The 2012-13 Business Plan and Budget is part of the 'Big Plans and Budget' for our city, along with Council’s Strategic Plan 2012-16 and the Integrated Movement Strategy 2012-22. These plans and budget have been developed through ‘Picture Adelaide’ – Council’s biggest consultation project to date.

After taking into consideration all public submissions, Council formally adopted the 2012-13 Business Plan and Budget on 26 June 2012.

Council’s responses to all submissions are available online here. The final 2012-13 Business Plan and Budget can be accessed here.

Copies are also available from Council’s Customer Centre at 25 Pirie Street or any of Council’s libraries and community centres.

After two previous rounds of community input, Council sought feedback on the draft 2012-13 Business Plan and Budget.

The third and final consultation stage of this project was open from 27 April and closed on 21 May 2012.

Once again we received a great response from our community. The results of this consultation were presented to Council for consideration on 29 May 2012 and the community was given the opportunity to speak to Council about their submissions.

Changes to the draft Business Plan and Budget in response to community comments were presented to Council members on 12 June 2012 and it is anticipated that the final Business Plan and Budget will be presented to Council for adoption on 26 June 2012.

Everyone who made a formal submission on the draft Business Plan and Budget will receive a response from Council after the final adoption.
