Consultation has concluded

This project will help beautify and green the area between Barton Terrace and the golf course and it helps Council meet its 2016-2020 Strategic Plan goals of being a Green city and a Liveable city.
There has been significant community lobbying to see this area beautified and reflecting the character of North Adelaide.

This project has been included in Council’s 2016/17 Business Plan and Budget.

This project will beautify the area in question and have an immediate impact on how the area looks and is perceived. Specifically, it was include:

  • Understorey planting
  • Formalised turfing of the area
  • Installation of irrigation infrastructure
  • Renewal of kerbing along the north side of Barton Terrace
