Help us understand how you think Council's buildings are performing!

What are we reviewing?

We are reviewing our asset management plans (AMPs) for a range of assets including Buildings, Water Infrastructure, Park Lands and Open Spaces, Transportation, Urban Elements, and Lighting and Electrical Infrastructure. This review will enable us to plan our asset management efforts to optimise outcomes for the community and prioritise resources for the areas of greatest need.

Consultation is being conducted in four stages. In stage 1 (22 October - 12 November 2021) we asked for your feedback on streets and transportation and park lands and open space. This is stage 2.

For stage 2 we want your feedback on:

  • the levels of service you expect, and are willing to pay for
  • which assets are most important to you, so we can prioritise in our next level of asset management planning
  • recurrent issues and opportunities to improve our service delivery
  • our key services areas.

Don't forget to enter the draw to WIN one of ten $50 Central Market vouchers at the end of the survey! Click here to view the Terms and Conditions.

Stage 2 focusses on Council Buildings, including:

Community Buildings

  • Libraries
  • Community Halls and Centres
  • Park Lands Sports Clubs and Grandstands
  • Public Toilets
  • Town Hall Complex

Commercial Buildings

  • Adelaide Aquatic Centre
  • North Adelaide Golf Course
  • Upark Car Parking
  • Park Lands Businesses
  • Adelaide Central Market

Background

Adelaide is a rapidly growing and changing city. We are home to nearly 28,000 residents, which could grow to around 49,000 by 2041. The age profile of the city users is also changing, with a higher proportion of city users aged 25-44 and over 65, and fewer aged 15-24. To meet these changes, we need to ensure that the management of the city’s infrastructure and associated levels of service can sustainably meet present and future demand.

This is a multi-stage project and we will engage with you at several touchpoints during the next two years. Click here to review the detailed Timeline.
