The Adelaide Park Lands are home to many public events, play spaces, cycling and walking trails, recreation areas and places for picnics and barbecues. They are a significant part of Adelaide’s identity and important to residents of the City of Adelaide and the broader metropolitan area.
We are seeking your views on the draft Community Land Management Plan for the Adelaide Park Lands.
The Adelaide Park Lands are community land, managed by the City of Adelaide (CoA) and the State Government.
Under the Local Government Act 1999 (SA) the CoA must adopt a Community Land Management Plan (CLMP) for those areas of the Park Lands under its care and control. This document identifies how this land will be used and managed.
The existing CLMP, comprised of separate 'chapters', has been reviewed and the management information for 30 parks and six squares brought together into a single document covering all the Adelaide Park Lands.
We are keen to receive comments on the consolidated draft CLMP for the Adelaide Park Lands to help us better understand the community's views on this important management tool.
