What we would like you to do?

We would like your feedback on the permit application from the Wakefield Hotel to temporarily close Divett Place to help stage the GEAR’D event between Thursday 17 November 2022 – Sunday 20 November 2022.

How do I provide feedback?

You can provide your feedback here or by clicking on the 'Provide feedback' tab below.

Why are we asking you to do this?

Under the Local Government Act 1999, Council is required to conduct public consultation before it can grant a permit for a business purpose - in this instance the staging of GEAR’D – if the event requires any part of a road to be temporarily fenced off or closed, which would significantly impede the passage of traffic in that area.

How long do I have to provide feedback?

You can provide feedback until 5pm, Tuesday 19 July 2022. All feedback must be received by Council by this date.
