Consultation has concluded
Project Information
We actively engaged with residents during June and July 2023 to hear their thoughts about recycling food and other green organics waste. Responses will be used to help inform and explore future education programs and possible service innovations for residential waste and recycling collections.
Project Update
Thank you for participating in the recycling food and other green waste at home community consultation. We value your input and have listened to the feedback provided via Your Say, surveys, doorstep chats and focus groups. We learned that City of Adelaide residents are generally open to service innovations and to work together to achieve higher food waste diversion outcomes.
Informed by your input, the City of Adelaide is planning a small scale pilot which aims to test a number of service innovations for residents in city laneways. In the coming months, we will engage with selected households for further feedback and the next steps.
