Consultation has concluded.

The 2022 Resident Survey has closed.

Thanks to all City of Adelaide residents who took the time to respond to the survey this year - there were 805 of you!  Prize draw winners will be notified over the coming days.

We are conducting the 2022 Resident Survey to find out more about the people who live in Adelaide (5000) or North Adelaide (5006). This is the fourth year in a row that we have undertaken this survey. The information we receive from our residents through this survey is highly valued across the organisation.

Your responses will be used to help shape the services, programs and activities delivered by the City of Adelaide.

The Survey is long (it will take 40-50 minutes to do every question), but it is structured so that you can skip some questions if you want to.

Don't forget to enter the draw to WIN one of ten $100 Adelaide Central Market vouchers!

The information from previous Resident Surveys has been used to:

  • inform engagement and activities for resource recovery
  • understand residents’ environment choices and position marketing for community activities and the incentives on offer through the Sustainability Incentives Scheme
  • provide part of the evidence base for developing the 2020-2024 Strategic Plan
  • track progress on priorities around wellbeing and resilience, safety, arts and culture
  • define programs and activities to support the wellbeing of young people living in the city
  • inform promotions and activities for National Nutrition Week and the review of the Public Health Plan
  • assist residents with planning for emergencies
  • assist Council with determining service priorities and to measure service performance
  • inform advocacy to other levels of government
  • inform the review of Community Land Management Plans
  • inform events and activations as part of the Mainstreets Revitalisation Program.

The 2022 Resident Survey:

  • includes most of the questions on wellbeing and community connectedness used in previous years
  • has new questions about main streets so that we can continue to inform Main Streets Revitalisation Programs for Hindley Street, Hutt Street, Melbourne Street and O’Connell Street
  • has new questions to inform master planning for Victoria Park, a CIty Plan and the next Strategic Plan
  • takes 'being green at home' to a new level with a focus on transport and electric vehicles.

  • CLOSED: This survey has concluded.

Survey closes at 11:59pm on Monday 5 September 2022.

You must be 18 years of age or older to complete this survey.
Please note: City of Adelaide employees are ineligible to participate in the Resident Survey.

We estimate that the survey will take 40-50 minutes to complete, however it is structured so that you can skip some questions if you want to.
Registered Your Say Adelaide participants will be able to save a partially completed survey at the end of a page and return to it at a later time. If you are not a registered participant, you will need to complete the whole survey in one attempt.

It is intended that you only complete this survey once.

If you need assistance to register as a Your Say Adelaide participant, please read this handy guide here.

We know that this survey is very long. To help you with this we have reduced the number of questions that are marked with an asterix (*) as mandatory. There are a couple of sections within the survey where you can choose to answer as many or as few of the questions in them as you wish. All of your answers are important to us and we do make use of the information we get from our residents through this survey. Please do as much of the survey as you are able to. In 2021 we had more than 1400 residents complete the survey! Please click here for more information.

Good luck, and please enter the prize draw. It is our way to thank you for taking the time to do the survey.
