Project update - March 2020

Consultation on a revised upgrade to the Field Street Streetscape was conducted between January and February 2020. The outcome of the consultation has been published on the Field Street Streetscape page.

Project update

Thank you for your feedback. Your feedback is contributing to the detailed design work, which is currently being undertaken through Council’s external design consultant.

The Wright Court component of the work will be undertaken in the 2019/20 Financial Year.

The Field Street component will continue to have design investigations undertaken, for potential construction works in future Financial Years.

Background and project information

As part of our commitment to making Adelaide a greener and more sustainable capital city, we have committed to upgrading the streetscapes of Wright Court and Field Street (view location diagram opposite). The upgrades provide an opportunity to enhance the existing character of the streets through a blend of commercial, residential and retail uses.

During May -June 2018 we asked for your feedback on what you would like included in the streetscape upgrades. Your feedback contributed to the development of a draft concept plan and street perspectives for the proposed upgrades, which will include the installation of 17 new trees.

We would welcome your feedback on the draft concept plan and the street perspectives.

Drop -in session

A drop-in session is scheduled for 4pm - 7pm on 28 August 2018 at the Minor Works Building at 22 Stamford Court, Adelaide. The drop-in session is an opportunity to meet members of the project team and to provide feedback, or any further input on the concept for an upgrade to Wright Court and Field Street Streetscape.

    Feedback form closes at 5 pm, 12 September 2018.

    You will be asked to login to your user account before providing your submission.

    It is Council’s policy that for a formal submission to be received it must include your name and residential address. Please ensure your user profile is up to date with your latest contact details.

    Formal submissions will be provided to Council and may be publicly available.
