Background

The upgrade to the streetscape in Field Street is an objective of the City of Adelaide’s 2019/20 Integrated Business Plan (IBP). This proposed upgrade follows on from the Wright Court and Field Street Streetscape Upgrades consultation that was conducted between August and September 2018 (see lifecycle opposite).

The Field Street Streetscape upgrade will incorporate many changes including the reconfiguration of traffic flow in Field Street from two-way to one-way and the planting of additional trees in the street.
