Consultation has concluded
Rundle Mall is one of the defining features of Adelaide. We are currently reviewed the future of Rundle Mall through the development of a masterplan. So far, we have engaged a Consultant Project Team that have created a vision & strategy for the future development of the Rundle Mall Precinct - known as the Rundle Mall Master Plan.
We have received over 100 repsonses throughout the consultation period. Your feedback has been reviewed and collated, ready for inclusion in the next stage of the Masterplan.
The next stage of the Masterplan process is to undertake the Detailed Design phase. A design team is currently being engaged to develop exciting design solutions for the paving, lighting, furniture, tree planting and greening in the Mall. The design is due to be completed by mid 2012, followed by construction. It is likely the construction will occur over a staged process to ensure minimal disruption to the Mall.
