From 2 July 2012 we began a parking trial at three of our UParks offering a discounted rate of $6 for up to three hours parking – less than half the current cost - providing convenient short-stay parking, 7 days a week.
The new rate aimed to make it easy for more people to come into the city with benefits for businesses while increasing vitality and energy in the central areas. We know this UPark short-stay parking trial is creating great discussion and debate amongst our city residents, visitors and users.
