CURRENT INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS
Rymill Park/Murlawirrapurka (Park 14) - Lake renewal Project: The lake in Rymill Park is undergoing improvement and will be closed from late August 2023 until April 2024. Find out more about the project here.
Adelaide Town Hall Conservation Project: The project will take approximately 16 months, and you can keep up to date with the conservation works.

Veale Gardens Renewal project
Stage 1 of the project has been completed, which included creek enhancements, asphalt footpath improvements and footbridge improvements. To view the photos, click here. Stage 2 will commence in January 2024
Park Lands Dry Area Regulation Review
On 14 November Council determined that the Adelaide Park Lands Dry Areas Regulations should be extended for a further 18 months from 22 December 2023 to 22 June 2025. During this time frame Council will work with members of the Safety and Wellbeing Taskforce (led by the Department of Human Services (DHS) with relevant agencies including DHS, SA Police, and the Drug and Alcohol Services of SA segment of SA Health with Services) to measure the effectiveness and impact of the Adelaide Park Lands Dry Area Regulations. Street Planting
City of Adelaide have engaged a Contractor to complete the Greening works, and the contractor has commenced works starting at Brougham Place. Due to the sequencing of these works, they are anticipated to be completed in February - March 2024. An overview of when the contractor is proposing to start and complete the greening works within each street can be found here.
